The World Cup is in America

The World Cup's in America

VOICEOVER, WORLD CUP 2026

The 2026 World Cup has put the United States at the centre of the football world, and the marketing world with it. If your brand is reaching for that American audience, the voice you choose matters more than you think.

The biggest US spotlight in a generation

For the first time, the World Cup is being co-hosted across three nations, the United States, Canada and Mexico, and the United States is carrying the bulk of it. Eleven of the sixteen host cities are American, from Los Angeles and Seattle to New York, Dallas, Atlanta and Miami. It is also the first 48 team tournament, 104 matches across 39 days, running from 11 June to 19 July 2026.

The group stage has been box office. The hosts have started strongly, with the USA beating Paraguay 4 to 1 and then Australia 2 to 0. Across the other groups the goals have flowed: Germany put seven past Curacao, the Netherlands beat Sweden 5 to 1, and Canada hammered Qatar 6 to 0. Eyes everywhere are on America right now.

By the numbers

A US sized audience

48 teams, 104 matches, 16 host cities, 11 of them in the United States. The group stage runs through 25 June, with the knockouts to follow. Months of attention pointed squarely at the American market.

Brands are already chasing the American audience

A home tournament drags a market into the global conversation, and the smart money is already moving. Brands that normally talk to a UK or European audience are reworking campaigns to land with American viewers: commercials, social, pre roll, sponsor activations and retail tie ins, all aimed at the US.

The trouble is that an American audience hears an inauthentic accent instantly. A British voice doing an approximation, or a flat read that misses the register, undercuts the whole spot. If you want a US audience to lean in, the voice has to sound like one of their own.

Where it matters

Built for US facing work

National TV and radio, online and pre roll, podcast ad reads, sponsor and retail activations. Anywhere your message needs to sound native to an American ear.

Why an authentic American voice wins

American English is not one accent, it is a spectrum, and the one you pick changes how the message reads. General American is the broadcast default, neutral and trusted nationwide. A New York voice brings edge, Southern brings warmth, California reads young and modern, Midwestern feels familiar and safe. Match the voice to the audience and the spot does half its work before a word of the script lands.

That is what we do. Easy Tiger represents native American English voice artists for commercials, corporate film, e-learning and global campaigns, cast and directed from our London base. You get genuine US talent with the convenience of a UK agency and UK-hours support.

  • General American. The safe, neutral choice for a national or global campaign.
  • Regional character. New York, Southern, California, Boston and more when the creative calls for a specific identity.
  • Multicultural voices. Latino, Hispanic American and African American talent for campaigns that need to reflect their audience.

Native, not imitation

It has to be real

An American audience clocks a fake accent in seconds. We cast native US voices so your campaign sounds like it belongs, not like it is visiting.

Move fast, the tournament will not wait

A live tournament rewards brands that react. A goal, a result, a moment of drama, and there is a window to say something while the audience is paying attention. That only works if your voice turnaround is quick.

Send us your script, tone reference and deadline and we will come back with a shortlist of American voices, usually within hours. Custom auditions against your actual script are free, and final recorded delivery is typically within 24 to 48 hours, faster if it is urgent.

Fast by default

From brief to broadcast

Voice options the same day on most briefs. Recorded delivery in 24 to 48 hours. One point of contact in London from start to finish.
