AUDIOBOOK PRODUCTION

Audiobook Production: Full Service, or Just the Voice

Most voiceover agencies do one thing: send you a narrator. After that, the editing, the proofing to audio, the mastering and the retail-ready files are your problem. Easy Tiger Voices works differently. Because we sit inside a wider audio group alongside our production company, 11c, we can hand you a finished, publishable audiobook, or simply supply the voice and step back. As much or as little as you need.

Just the voice, when that is all you need

If you already have your own production pipeline, this is the lean option. You handle editing, mastering and distribution, and we stay out of the way. It is the right route when post-production is already sorted and you only need the talent.

  • The right narrator cast and matched to your title, genre and target listener
  • Studio-quality raw recordings delivered to your spec
  • A directed performance, briefed and shaped, not just read aloud

VOICE ONLY

You own the production

Already have an editor and a distribution setup you trust? Take the voice and run. We cast and direct, you finish.

The whole thing, finished

When you want to publish, not edit, this is the route. Through 11c, our audio group’s production arm, we cover the lot and hand back a finished audiobook ready to upload.

  • Casting and direction: the right narrator, directed to perform the book properly
  • Recording: captured to professional, platform-ready standard
  • Editing and proofing to audio: clicks removed, levels normalised, every line checked against the manuscript
  • Mastering and delivery: finished to retail spec, in the formats your distributor requires

You brief us once. No chasing freelancers, no stitching a chain of suppliers together, no version-control mess.

End to end

Brief us once, then publish

Manuscript in, retail-ready audiobook out. One partner for casting, recording, editing, mastering and delivery.

Why a human-read audiobook always has more soul than an AI one

AI narration is improving, and for some jobs, like a quick internal draft or a throwaway script, it is fine. An audiobook is not one of those jobs.

A novel runs eight, ten, twelve hours. Over that distance a synthetic voice fatigues the ear. The small, identical breaths between sentences, the flatness where a real reader would lift or drop, the timing that is almost right but never quite. It accumulates, and listeners feel it long before they can name it. They drift, and they stop.

A human narrator does thousands of things a model cannot infer from text. They decide what a line means before they say it. They carry an emotional arc across a whole book, so a payoff in chapter twenty lands because of how chapter three was read. They give each character a distinct, consistent presence. They time a joke, hold a silence, let grief sit. They perform, rather than pronounce.

For audiobooks, where the entire product is a voice in someone’s ears for hours, the performance is the product. A real reader will always have more soul and feeling than a generated one, because soul and feeling are choices, and only a person is making them.

The performance is the product

Soul is a choice

Across ten hours of listening, a human read holds attention and carries the emotional arc. A generated voice cannot make the thousands of small decisions that keep a listener to the end.

Who we work with

We work with the large publishing houses across the UK and the United States, alongside independent authors and brands moving into long-form audio. The standard is the same whoever the client is: a cast-and-directed performance and, where you want it, a finished, retail-ready master.

Publishers and authors

Same standard, every brief

From a publisher who only needs a narrator to an author who wants the whole production managed, the bar does not move.
