Finnish is unlike any of the other Nordic languages. It is Uralic rather than Germanic, structurally closer to Estonian and Hungarian than to Swedish or Norwegian, and that has produced a quite distinct broadcast tradition. Finnish television, advertising and the country’s vibrant tech and gaming sector have built a deep bench of broadcast-trained voice talent who handle everything from premium 30-second TV spots to multi-hour audiobook recordings.
Easy Tiger Voices represents a curated shortlist of native Finnish voice artists with credits across Yle, MTV3, Nelonen, Supercell, Nokia, the Nordic offices of every major multinational and pan-European brand campaigns. As a London-based agency we run the production end-to-end in English with native Finnish quality control on every session.
At a glance
Finnish broadcast is overwhelmingly delivered in Yleiskieli – Standard Finnish – which is the carefully constructed neutral broadcast standard used by Yle and almost all national advertising and corporate work. The language has clear regional dialects but they are deliberately ironed out for broadcast and commercial use, and for any pan-Finnish, Nordic or international brief, neutral Yleiskieli is the read we recommend.
The neutral broadcast standard, used by Yle, national advertising and most corporate. Clear, formal, what we recommend for almost all international briefs.
Works for: national advertising, broadcast, corporate, e-learning, factual narration.
Everyday spoken Finnish – shorter words, dropped endings and a more casual feel. Cast for younger consumer brands, urban Helsinki advertising and warmer, conversational reads.
Works for: youth consumer brands, urban lifestyle, social and digital, conversational explainer.
A separate accent of Swedish spoken by the Swedish-speaking minority along the south and west coast. Cast for Finland-targeted Swedish-language briefs – Aland, Vaasa, Helsinki Swedish-speaking community.
Works for: Aland Islands work, Swedish-speaking Finland, bilingual public-sector briefs.
Measured, lower-pitched and formal – the register favoured by pharma, finance, factual documentary and premium institutional work.

Dubbing & ADR
We cast and record Finnish dubbing across the sync levels a project needs, from rough-sync and time-sync through to full lip-sync, plus ADR and voice replacement, for film, TV, streaming, games and corporate content.
Casting matters as much in a dub as in an original read. An audience hears a mismatched voice immediately, so we match native Finnish voices to the on-screen performance, not just the script.
See the full service on our dubbing and ADR page, or read our guide to the difference between dubbing and voice over.

No. Finnish is a Uralic language with very different grammar, vocabulary and rhythm from the Scandinavian languages. Native Finnish audiences need a Finnish voice – a Swedish or Norwegian read will not be understood.
Yleiskieli for broadcast news-style, corporate, e-learning, pharma and factual. Puhekieli for younger consumer brands wanting a casual, conversational feel. We will recommend based on brand and audience.
Yes. Finland-Swedish is a separate accent of Swedish spoken by the Swedish-speaking minority in Finland and we cast it with native Finland-Swedish talent for Finland-targeted Swedish-language briefs.
