Why this voice

Belgian French is not Parisian French

Belgian French and Parisian French share grammar and vocabulary but Belgian audiences identify a French-from-France read instantly – and not always positively. For brands targeting Wallonia, Brussels and the French-speaking Belgian community, native Belgian French builds trust where Parisian French creates distance.

Belgium is also the seat of the European Union, NATO and a dense corporate base. EU institutional work, multinational HQ communications and pan-Belgian campaigns regularly specify Belgian French. The accent matters commercially, not just culturally.

The spectrum

Belgian French variants we cover

Belgian French is largely uniform but register and origin matter for the right pitch.

Brussels French

The most internationally readable Belgian French – urban, professional, closest to neutral. The default for EU institutional, corporate and pan-Belgian advertising work.

Walloon

The accent of southern Belgium – Liège, Namur, Charleroi. Slightly stronger regional character, warmer in tone. Used for Wallonia-specific brand work.

Belgian French (neutral)

Polished Belgian French stripped of strong regional markers. The default for broadcast, e-learning and corporate work that needs to feel Belgian without being place-specific.

Bilingual French/Dutch

Belgian French voices with Dutch / Flemish capability, useful for cross-community Belgian campaigns where one talent delivers both language versions.

Belgian French dubbing and ADR session at Easy Tiger Voices

Dubbing & ADR

Belgian French dubbing and ADR

We cast and record Belgian French dubbing across the sync levels a project needs, from rough-sync and time-sync through to full lip-sync, plus ADR and voice replacement, for film, TV, streaming, games and corporate content.

Casting matters as much in a dub as in an original read. An audience hears a mismatched voice immediately, so we match native Belgian French voices to the on-screen performance, not just the script.

See the full service on our dubbing and ADR page, or read our guide to the difference between dubbing and voice over.
