PODCAST VOICE TALENT

Podcast Voiceover & Narration

Easy Tiger Voices represents podcast voiceover artists for intros, outros, sponsor reads and dynamic ad insertion – plus full narrative hosting for branded podcasts and documentary series. Professional voices, broadcast-quality production, podcast-platform-ready delivery.

Two very different jobs

“Podcast voiceover” covers two quite different briefs and they need different voices. The first is short-format: the show intro, the outro, the sponsor read, the dynamically inserted host-read or pre-produced ad. Here, a professional voice does the heavy lifting in fifteen to forty-five seconds and gives the host a consistent identity across every episode.

The second is long-format: full narrative hosting and narration for branded podcasts, documentary series and audio drama. Here, the voice carries thirty to sixty minutes of attention at a time, often across a season, and the casting is much closer to audiobook than to advertising. We cast for both, and we handle production: mastering to podcast platform loudness specs, chapter markers and clean delivery to Acast, Megaphone, Audioboom, Spotify for Podcasters and self-hosted RSS.

At a glance

Podcast voiceover, platform-ready

  • Short-format intros, outros and sponsor reads
  • Long-format narrative hosting for branded series
  • -16 LUFS stereo / -19 LUFS mono mastering
  • Long-term retainers for tone-matched updates

What podcast voiceover works for

  • Short format – show intros and outros, sponsor reads and ad-spots, dynamically inserted ads, trailers and season promos, network and platform idents
  • Long format – branded podcast hosting, true-crime narration, investigative and documentary series, audio drama narration, limited-series specials
  • Production add-ons – loudness mastering to platform spec, chapter markers and metadata, episode artwork tag-in, social snippet edits, RSS-ready uploads
  • Cross-show retainers – one voice consistent across an entire podcast network’s idents and stings
  • Multilingual rollout – matched-tone podcast localisation across European and North American languages

Intros vs hosting - why you probably want different voices

Most brands launching a podcast assume the same voice should do the intro and the hosting. That is sometimes right and often wrong – the two jobs use different muscles.

Intros and outros

Presentational work: hooking the listener, branding the show, setting expectation in fifteen seconds or less. Wants a slightly elevated, polished, almost broadcast-style read – the voice the listener associates with “this is a show”.

Works for: chart shows, panel and chat podcasts, branded series openers, network idents.

Sponsor reads and DAI

Pre-produced ads usually want a voice tonally distinct enough from the host that the listener understands “we are now in an ad”, but not so distinct that the show feels interrupted. Dynamic insertion needs a friendly, flexible read that works across many shows simultaneously.

Works for: programmatic audio, sponsor reads, DAI campaigns, host-read alternatives.

Narrative hosting

The host of a documentary-style narrative podcast – true crime, investigative, journalism. A single authoritative voice carrying both opening and body. Elevated on intros, conversational on the body so listeners can sit with it for half an hour.

Works for: true-crime series, investigative journalism, branded documentary, audio drama.

Long-form narration

Pure narration of audio drama, branded documentary or limited-series specials. Closer to audiobook than to advertising, and we cast accordingly.

Works for: audio drama, scripted narrative podcasts, branded long-form, limited-series specials.
