NATIVE PORTUGUESE VOICE TALENT
Easy Tiger Voices represents native European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese voice artists for commercials, corporate films, e-learning, dubbing and broadcast. Based in London, we work with clients across the UK, Portugal, Brazil, the United States and globally, delivering authentic Portuguese voiceover for both sides of the Atlantic.
Every voice on our Portuguese roster is a native first-language speaker with professional voiceover experience and a broadcast-quality home studio. Working voice actors, recorded in Lisbon, Porto, Sao Paulo, Rio and across the UK and Europe.
Portuguese is spoken by more than 260 million people across four continents, and the two main standards – European Portuguese (PT-PT) and Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR) – sound genuinely different to native ears. Vowels, rhythm, slang and register all shift between Lisbon and Sao Paulo. Casting the wrong variant for a campaign is one of the most common and most expensive mistakes brands make when localising into Portuguese, and our job is to make sure that does not happen.
It also matters beyond Portugal and Brazil. UK retailers and broadcasters run Portuguese assets for the UK Portuguese community. Global advertisers commission PT-BR for Brazil’s enormous consumer market. Multinationals communicate with workforces in Lisbon, Porto, Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte. If your work will be heard in any of those cities, a native Portuguese voice removes friction and signals that you have done the basics properly.
At a glance
The split that matters most is European Portuguese versus Brazilian Portuguese. They are not interchangeable. Within each, there is a richer accent landscape underneath, and the right regional voice can lift the right project. Cast for the country and the audience first, then for the colour the brief calls for.
The neutral Portuguese used by Portuguese national broadcast, corporate and advertising. Closed, consonant-forward, with reduced vowels and a faster, more clipped rhythm. Quietly stylish, often used for luxury, heritage and lifestyle work targeting Portuguese consumers.
Works for: Portuguese national advertising, corporate narration, e-learning, documentary, luxury brand work.
The pan-regional Brazilian sound used by Globo, the major streamers and national advertising. Warmer and more melodic than European Portuguese, with stronger vowels and a relaxed cadence. The default for any campaign aimed at the whole Brazilian market.
Works for: Brazilian national advertising, broadcast, e-learning, corporate, dubbing, branded content.
Beyond Lisbon, Portugal has northern, central and southern accents plus distinct island accents from Madeira and the Azores. Useful for heritage brands, regional tourism and character work, although most national advertising defaults to the Lisbon standard.
Works for: regional tourism, heritage and food brands, character work, factual content.
Within Brazil, Carioca (Rio) is beach-y and stylish, Paulista (Sao Paulo) is metropolitan and business-like, Nordestino is rhythmic and immediately recognisable, and Mineiro is gentler and more conversational. Use when a project leans into regional identity.
Works for: regional Brazilian campaigns, fashion and music brands, character work, dramatic dubbing.
Portuguese as spoken in Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde, with accent and vocabulary distinct from both PT-PT and PT-BR. Cast when a brief specifically targets African Portuguese audiences or needs an authentic Lusophone African voice.
Works for: Angolan and Mozambican market work, NGO and development content, factual documentary.
Portuguese recorded by voices living in the UK, where the rhythm and reference points sit naturally inside UK-targeted assets. Useful for retail, banking and public information work aimed at the UK Portuguese-speaking community.
Works for: UK diaspora campaigns, public information, brand launches into the UK Portuguese community.

Dubbing & ADR
We cast and record Portuguese dubbing across the sync levels a project needs, from rough-sync and time-sync through to full lip-sync, plus ADR and voice replacement, for film, TV, streaming, games and corporate content.
Casting matters as much in a dub as in an original read. An audience hears a mismatched voice immediately, so we match native Portuguese voices to the on-screen performance, not just the script.
See the full service on our dubbing and ADR page, or read our guide to the difference between dubbing and voice over.

Always match the audience. If your campaign is aimed at Portugal, book European Portuguese (PT-PT). If it is aimed at Brazil, book Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR). The two variants are not interchangeable. Brazilian audiences find PT-PT difficult to follow at speed, and Portuguese audiences find PT-BR too informal for serious or corporate messaging. For campaigns running in both markets the standard practice is to record two separate versions with two native voices. We can manage both in parallel from a single brief.
Pricing depends on usage, length and project type. A short corporate explainer or e-learning module in Portuguese typically costs less than a multi-territory TV campaign with broadcast and online rights. We quote per project with usage rights clearly defined, normally within the same working day, and we can match most reasonable production budgets.
Most Portuguese projects are delivered within 24 to 48 hours of sign-off, including casting, recording, editing and revisions. Same-day turnaround is possible for shorter scripts or urgent broadcast work, depending on time zones. Our Brazilian talent are typically four hours behind UK time, which often helps when working to tight deadlines.
Yes. Every voice on our Portuguese roster is a native speaker of either European or Brazilian Portuguese. We do not cast fluent non-native voices for either variant. Native casting matters more for Portuguese than for many languages because the PT-PT and PT-BR differences are immediately obvious to listeners. We confirm the talent’s home dialect before booking.
Standard delivery is broadcast-ready 48kHz 24-bit WAV plus a matched MP3. Stems, split files for IVR systems, time-coded files for dubbing and synced versions for video projects are available on request. Files are edited, de-breathed and topped and tailed by default. Multitrack project files are available where you need to mix in-house.
Usage is quoted up front so there are no surprises later. Most corporate, e-learning and internal communications work is supplied on a perpetual non-broadcast buyout. Broadcast and online advertising is quoted by territory, media and duration. Everything is documented in writing before recording begins so you know exactly what you have bought.
