Why this voice
Romanian is spoken by about 25 million people, primarily in Romania and Moldova, with one of the largest EU diasporas now living in the UK, Italy and Spain. For brands targeting Romania, Moldova or the British Romanian community, a native voice is the difference between authentic and approximate.
Commercially, Romania is a serious localisation market for streaming, gaming, automotive and FMCG. Bucharest media buyers expect native Romanian for any TV or radio spot, and most pan-CEE campaigns now include a dedicated Romanian read.

The spectrum
Romanian is largely uniform – the main split is register and broadcast vs character work.
Neutral Bucharest
The broadcast and commercial standard. Clean, urban, modern. The default for advertising, corporate and e-learning. Reads as Romanian without strong regional flavour.
Transylvanian / Regional
Subtle regional accents from outside the capital. Useful for character work, rural lifestyle brands and tourism content rooted outside Bucharest.
Moldovan
Closely related to standard Romanian with subtle accent differences. Available where campaigns specifically target Moldova or Moldovan diaspora audiences.
UK Romanian diaspora
Voices based in the UK with native Romanian command. Useful for UK-based Romanian language content, NHS and public sector translation work.

Dubbing & ADR
We cast and record Romanian dubbing across the sync levels a project needs, from rough-sync and time-sync through to full lip-sync, plus ADR and voice replacement, for film, TV, streaming, games and corporate content.
Casting matters as much in a dub as in an original read. An audience hears a mismatched voice immediately, so we match native Romanian voices to the on-screen performance, not just the script.
See the full service on our dubbing and ADR page, or read our guide to the difference between dubbing and voice over.
