Australian English is one of the most distinctive accents in the global market and one of the most commercially valuable. Australian voices read as warm, direct, slightly irreverent and trustworthy – a combination that brands in tourism, financial services, retail, food, automotive and tech actively cast for, often outside Australia itself.
Our Australian roster includes male and female artists, ages 20s to 60s, with credits across Channel Seven, Nine, Ten, ABC, SBS, Foxtel, Stan, Netflix and major Australian and international brand campaigns. Working with a London agency means UK and European clients get one English-speaking producer handling casting, direction, edit and delivery, with most jobs turning around inside 24 to 48 hours of script approval.
At a glance
Australian English is more regionally uniform than British or American English, but it is far from a single sound. Sociolinguists usually describe three broad varieties, and the right choice depends on brand intent, audience and brief.
The urban, mainstream broadcast accent heard from most national newsreaders, presenters and premium commercials. Sounds Australian without becoming a caricature, works comfortably alongside British and American voices.
Works for: corporate, e-learning, tech, fintech, premium retail, financial services, factual broadcast.
The more strongly accented register often associated with rural, outback and working-class characters. Cast deliberately for unmistakable Australian-ness and warmth.
Works for: tourism, food, beer, sport, lifestyle, character work, comedy.
A slightly older, more anglicised register that has largely faded from contemporary broadcast but still appears in luxury and heritage brand work.
Works for: luxury brands, heritage, period drama, classical narration.
A separate and important casting consideration. We maintain a curated bench of First Nations talent for briefs where authentic Indigenous Australian representation is required.
Works for: Indigenous-led campaigns, public information, education, cultural programming.
Send us your script, tone reference and deadline. We will come back with a focused shortlist of Australian voices, clear rates and availability.

Dubbing & ADR
We cast and record Australian dubbing across the sync levels a project needs, from rough-sync and time-sync through to full lip-sync, plus ADR and voice replacement, for film, TV, streaming, games and corporate content.
Casting matters as much in a dub as in an original read. An audience hears a mismatched voice immediately, so we match native Australian voices to the on-screen performance, not just the script.
See the full service on our dubbing and ADR page, or read our guide to the difference between dubbing and voice over.

Some can do a passable impression for character work, but they will be spotted instantly by Australian audiences. For any brief aimed at the Australian market or any international project where authenticity matters, we cast genuine Australian talent.
General Australian for most corporate, e-learning, tech, financial services and premium retail work. Broad Australian for tourism, food, beer, sport and lifestyle briefs aimed at Australian or Australia-curious audiences. We will recommend from the brief.
Sydney and Melbourne are 9 to 11 hours ahead of London depending on daylight saving. We schedule live-direction sessions in overlapping windows – typically UK morning is Australian evening – or run self-record briefs to spec where live direction is not required.
Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours from script approval. Same-day delivery is available for short broadcast spots when the script is locked and a timezone-compatible slot is free.
Yes. We maintain a curated bench of First Nations talent for briefs where authentic Indigenous Australian representation is required. Tell us the cultural and language community in the brief and we will source accordingly.
A 30-second non-broadcast read starts around £250. Broadcast usage with media buyout is priced on territory and term. We quote in writing before any work starts.
