Easy Tiger Voices represents South African voice artists for advertising, e-learning, corporate and broadcast. Based in London, we cast Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban-based talent as well as South African voices in London. White SA, Black SA and Coloured SA English on the roster.
Every voice on our South African roster is a native South African speaker with professional voiceover experience and a broadcast-quality home studio. Male and female artists across White SA, Black SA and Coloured SA English, ages 20s to 60s, with credits in SABC, eTV, M-Net and pan-African brand campaigns.

South African English is one of the most varied and most casting-sensitive Englishes in the world. The country is officially home to eleven languages and three distinct English-speaking communities, and the choice of voice has real implications for brand authenticity, audience trust and representation.
Easy Tiger Voices runs a curated South African roster covering White SA English (sometimes called General South African or Afrikaner-influenced), Black SA English and Coloured SA English, alongside Afrikaans and isiZulu voices on request through our wider Africa bench. Our talent record from their own broadcast-quality studios in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban as well as London-based diaspora artists, with native South African quality control on every session.
At a glance
South African English splits along community lines more than along geographic ones, and casting the right variant matters more here than in almost any other English-speaking market. The three main accents we cast each carry their own register, audience and brand associations.
Sometimes called General South African or Afrikaner-influenced. Ranges from a very neutral broadcast register used by national news presenters through to a more strongly Afrikaner-influenced delivery. The historic default for premium broadcast.
Works for: tourism, finance, luxury, heritage broadcast, factual documentary.
The variety spoken by the majority of South Africans, shaped by mother-tongue influence from isiZulu, isiXhosa, seSotho, seTswana and other African languages. Now standard for mass-market and contemporary corporate.
Works for: mass-market retail, FMCG, telco, contemporary corporate, public information.
Particularly Cape Coloured English of the Western Cape, with its own distinct rhythm and vocabulary. Cast deliberately for Western Cape-targeted work and character roles.
Works for: Western Cape advertising, character work, music-led brands, regional retail.
Afrikaans is a separate language – a daughter language of Dutch – not an English accent. We cast Afrikaans, isiZulu, isiXhosa, seSotho and seTswana voices separately through our wider Africa bench.
Works for: Afrikaans-targeted briefs, Indigenous-language broadcast, pan-Africa rollouts.
Send us your script, tone reference and deadline. We will come back with a focused shortlist of South African voices, clear rates and availability.

Dubbing & ADR
We cast and record South African dubbing across the sync levels a project needs, from rough-sync and time-sync through to full lip-sync, plus ADR and voice replacement, for film, TV, streaming, games and corporate content.
Casting matters as much in a dub as in an original read. An audience hears a mismatched voice immediately, so we match native South African voices to the on-screen performance, not just the script.
See the full service on our dubbing and ADR page, or read our guide to the difference between dubbing and voice over.

It depends on audience and brand intent. White SA English for traditional premium broadcast and luxury. Black SA English for mass-market retail, FMCG, telco and contemporary corporate. Coloured SA English for Western Cape-targeted work and character roles. We will recommend from the brief.
No. Afrikaans is a separate language – a daughter language of Dutch – and is cast separately from our South African English roster. We cover both, alongside Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho and Tswana voices on request.
Some can do a passable impression for character work, but South African audiences spot non-native accents instantly. For any brief aimed at the SA market or any project where authenticity matters, we cast genuine South African talent.
South Africa is only one or two hours ahead of the UK depending on the time of year, so live-direction sessions over Source-Connect or Zoom are simple to schedule across a normal working day.
Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours from script approval. Same-day delivery is available for short broadcast spots when the script is locked.
A 30-second non-broadcast read starts around £250. Broadcast usage with media buyout is priced on territory and term. We quote in writing before any work starts.
