Indian English Voiceover

Easy Tiger Voices represents native Indian-English voice artists for commercials, corporate films, e-learning and broadcast. Based in London, we work with clients across the UK, India, the United States and globally, delivering authentic Indian-English audio with no fakes and no generic accents.

Our Indian-English voice artists

Every voice on our Indian-English roster is a native English speaker raised in India or a member of the Indian diaspora with a true Indian-English accent. Working voice actors, recorded in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and across the UK and US.

Why UK brands need Indian-English voices

Indian English is a distinct, established variety of English spoken natively by hundreds of millions of people. It is the working language of corporate India, a primary language of higher education, and the default English read for any campaign or production aimed at urban Indian audiences and the global Indian diaspora. It is also one of the most miscast accents in international voiceover work, often filled by non-native speakers attempting a generic Indian sound. We do not do that.

Every voice on our Indian-English roster is a first-language English speaker raised in India, or a member of the Indian diaspora with a true Indian-English accent. We work with creative agencies, post-production houses, e-learning publishers, broadcasters and corporate clients who need authentic Indian-English audio for English-language deliveries. This page is for English-language voiceover with an Indian-English accent. If you need a Hindi-language read we maintain a separate dedicated Hindi roster on its own page.

Indian-English accents - pan-Indian and regional

Indian English is not a single accent. It is a family of accents shaped by the speaker’s first language, their region, and the schools and universities they passed through. For global brand work and most international corporate output, the pan-Indian English register is what we usually recommend. Beyond that standard, regional Indian-English accents can be cast where a brief calls for it, particularly in dubbing, character work and regionally-targeted advertising.

Pan-Indian English

The English heard on national news channels, in corporate boardrooms and on premium brand campaigns. Clean, neutral within an Indian frame, and instantly recognisable as Indian English without leaning into any specific regional sound. The default for international corporate, e-learning and advertising work.

Works for: corporate narration, e-learning, premium brand campaigns, explainer video.

South Indian English

Often with Tamil, Telugu or Kannada first-language influences. Distinct pace and intonation. Used where a brief specifically calls for a southern Indian voice, particularly in dubbing, character work and regional advertising.

Works for: regional advertising, dubbing, character work, south India market campaigns.

Mumbai and Delhi English

Mumbai English carries the rhythm of the city’s blend of Marathi and Hindi speakers. Delhi English leans slightly more Hindi-inflected. Both work well where regional authenticity matters or where the casting needs to feel grounded in a specific Indian metropolitan identity.

Works for: metropolitan brand campaigns, regional advertising, character work.

Bengali English

A distinct musicality, often associated with intellectual and literary registers. Brings a particular cultural weight to documentary, factual, heritage and education work, and to brands wanting to lean into a Kolkata or eastern India identity.

Works for: documentary, education, heritage brands, literary content.

Dubbing & ADR

Indian English dubbing and ADR

We cast and record Indian English dubbing across the sync levels a project needs, from rough-sync and time-sync through to full lip-sync, plus ADR and voice replacement, for film, TV, streaming, games and corporate content.

Casting matters as much in a dub as in an original read. An audience hears a mismatched voice immediately, so we match native Indian English voices to the on-screen performance, not just the script.

See the full service on our dubbing and ADR page, or read our guide to the difference between dubbing and voice over.

Indian-English voiceover - FAQs

Every Indian-English voice on our roster is a native English speaker raised in India or a member of the Indian diaspora with a true Indian-English accent. We do not cast non-Indian voice artists attempting a generic Indian accent. It is the single most miscast accent in international voiceover, and Indian audiences pick up the fake within a sentence.

Rates depend on script length, usage and talent profile. A standard corporate or e-learning Indian-English read typically starts around GBP 300 to GBP 600. A broadcast TV commercial with India-market or international usage is quoted on a buyout basis aligned to industry rate cards. Send your script and media plan and we will come back with a fixed quote the same working day.

Most corporate, e-learning and digital projects deliver within 24 to 48 hours of brief approval. Same-day rushes are possible when the talent and studio are available. Larger projects such as audiobooks or long-form dubbing are scheduled across a production window agreed upfront.

Indian-English voiceover is English-language audio delivered with an authentic Indian-English accent, recorded from an English script. Hindi voiceover is Hindi-language audio recorded from a Hindi script. Many India-market campaigns book both, particularly where TV airs in multiple languages. We cast separately for each and can run both in parallel from one brief.

Yes. Most work is delivered in a clean pan-Indian English register suited to corporate and brand work. We also have artists who can deliver South Indian, Mumbai, Delhi and Bengali Indian-English accents where the brief calls for a specific regional flavour, particularly in dubbing, character work and regional advertising.

Corporate, internal communications and e-learning work is licensed in perpetuity for the agreed use. Advertising and broadcast work is quoted with explicit usage covering territory, media and duration, in line with UK and international voiceover rate cards. India-specific broadcast rights are handled in line with local market practice and made explicit upfront.
